Great saw
I know this comment is late, but I just got this stand and it works very well for me and I am 71 years old. For the people that have problems lowering it, all they have to do is to pull up on the handle a bit to release any pressure and then the catches will release and it is easy to lower the saw. I have the 779 saw and it is quite heavy and this works great for me. For those that want to saw a little higher or even easily removable, bolt a couple of 2x4 's to the mount and then you could install t-nuts to the bottom of the 2x4 's and use some sort of wing bolts to attach the saw. Just a thought
Nice. I have a new Hitachi C12RSH that would mount well with this with the offset mounting pattern of the saw. A quick detach would have been nice so I could quickly mount my Bosch 1181 router table on it when needed.
I have this same stand its awesome and makes life a lot easier plus like u said it stores away which is the biggest plus. I do wish it was a quick release, I currently have my Dewalt 780 sitting on it and it's so much easier to travel with
The lack of a stop keeps coming up. Raise the roller a bit higher and use the roller support for a stop. A simple, elegant solution.
I like these rolling stands its a nice way to store the unit when it is not need or take it to a site. Thanks for the review.
I was going to get the 726 stand for my Dewalt DWS 779 miter saw but I got the Bosch portable gravity rise wheeled miter saw stand T4B instead, a bit more at $299 but I don’t have to bend way down to get it set up, the Bosch stand is very stable, sturdy, and solid, the setup is very smooth.
Thanks! Very useful and concise review. Helpful !
I own the Ridgid AC9946 Mitre saw stand and I love it. It is really good value.
Have the same stand haven’t used it a lot but the hydroelectric assist doesn’t seem to help a lot it still takes a bit of lifting to raise the stand do you notice this on yours? I had a ridged that raised much easier!
Man that setup looks like the bomb
How are the work supports used?
Are there any stop blocks? Or ways to add stop blocks?
I bought a new DeWalt 726 miter saw stand and probably had the same problem as so many others in collapsing the stand, I fought with adjusting the cables, and finally found that the two locking nuts under the cover were tight that didn't allow the two ears to be released therefore locking the stand in position.
Very informative,thanks much for sharing
I have the Dewalt 735X Planner and I was wondering if that would fit and work on this stand before I buy it?
I need a stand that quick releases so I can use my chop saw at any given moment. It seems this one doesn't have that option. I guess I'll have to check out Rigid. Bosch is too expensive.
I got it thank you for the great video
Will a Delta 10" Sidekick model 36-250 fit on the DWX726?
I discovered that I have developed a bad habit, when purchasing on the red hobo I would simultaneously lift the stand, whichI think locked the system I finally freed the system and with the saw bolted on the stand lowered very low then I lifted vertically and Stored s stand and saw, thank you for answering my request
