Two weeks in and every 2 minutes it makes a huge buzzing noise for about 10 seconds.
My AC freezes over with ice and I have to defrost it once a week. I’ve had it for 2-3 years and I would say it never worked well.
I have the one like this and when i want to heat up my room the coil freezes and the hot air is not blowing strong enough. What should be wrong with this ?
I followed the instructions, and I installed it at an angle, but I have not seen water dripping from the outside. What should I do? Please help!

Brand new Frigidaire window unit out of the box get an A5 error message where temperature shows. Anyone know how to fix it ?

Our 12btu unit has stopped “conditioning” the air. It cools ok, but the humidity levels remain above 90%? Not good.
When my porter installed the unit in my window he disposed of instructional material. What do I do? And also it's not cooling as much as I need to spite the fact that putting a thermometer right at the louvers it is emitting 60° air but 10 ft away the temperature was 82 all day yesterday and overnight. It's down to 78 now with 56% humidity. I don't think this is normal operation is it? I have had it set at a low temperature like 60 or 61 and it is working all the time. It does not rest.

Here trying to see why this thing turns on but no cool air comes out. Or anything for that matter. Called the hotline and they want to send a repairman here, but it will be 80 bucks...the thing is only a month old.
I have a frigidaire but not this model. Say I have it set on Cool, Hi.. if I turn it off it automatically turns on to Auto Lo. Why is that?

After 2 years.. It stopped working. We reset it and it'll turn on for about 20 seconds and then beep and shut off and the numbers 8.8 will appear.. I cant find ANYTHING about this and to help me fix this issue!
So, just found out that Frigidaire put there name on this product and also the manufacture plate. But in fact it is not even there product. That is just bad business making people think you are buying quality product when in fact it is a cheap knockoff. Now my daughter is bummed that she is out of luck on getting a replacement. Thanks!
